How do I mount them?
- The manual explains this nicely.
Can I mount the ICP into an older Aimsworth Pit?
- Yes you can
Does the ICP require additional power?

MFD's:

Are the buttons back light?

Control Unit:
How many MFD/ICP can I connect?
- You can connect up to 4 MFD’s on one CU (which means you will have no programming
space for an ICP) or 1 ICP and up to 3 MFD’s. Typically you would connect 1 ICP and 2 MFD
for an F-16 or 1 ICP and 3 MFD’s for an F-15/18.
Can multiple CU’s be daisy-chained?
- Yes, the CU can be daisy-chained, contact us if you need more specific information.
Does the USB CU require extra software?
- Yes, but the software is only required for programming the CU. The software is currently
available for Mac OS and Windows 98/Me, Windows 2000 and XP Home. If desired, the CU
may be programmed on a Windows 98 or Mac OS computer and then installed on a Windows
2000 computer. In other words, once the CU is programmed no software is required to use it.
Do I need to reprogram the CU after unplugging it?
- No, the CU holds the programming internally. In fact, it can be transferred from one computer
to another without reprogramming.
Does the CU require additional power?
- No.
Does the CU take the place of my regular keyboard?
-Yes or no. The CU can be used in conjunction with a regular keyboard. The CU needs a
regular keyboard for programming, but it may be removed after programming is complete.
.
How many keystrokes can be programmed on one CU key?
- You can program up to 900 keystrokes on the CU total. This means that you can program
approximately 900 keystrokes on a single key but then there would be no memory left for the
other keys.
Can a time delay be programmed between keystrokes?
- Yes, a fixed delay of 0.5 sec can be programmed. To enter a 0.5 second pause, press and
hold the key, tap the <5> key on the alphanumeric section of the keyboard (not the
number pad), and release the key. If you want a longer pause, repeat the command
(twice for 1 second, 3 times for 1.5 second, etc.).
How long can an extension cable be that connects the CU to the computer?
- The CU’s limit is approximately 15 feet which is a limitation of the USB itself.
Does it matter which key I press when I'm programming the CU?
- Yes, after switching the CU to program mode, tap the key on the ICP/MFD you want to
program, then type the desired key sequence on the standard keyboard, tap the same key on
the ICP/MFD and switch the CU back to the run mode.

Yes, there should be no compatibility issues.
Can I add additional MFD’s if I have a other pit like a F-15
or F-18 ?

second CU can be installed on your PC.
Is the ICP/MFD in the F-15/18 the same as in the F-16 ?
